Fairly average school my children attended this school when previous principal was there. I have worked in schools myself and didn't feel the standard as good as schools l worked in around the North Coast. However I and people l was friendly with whose children also attended the school are most impressed with the changes. Just a pity they came too late for our children now grown up. The draw back for residents of the area is significantly worse issues with parents parking on the main road of Rugby avenue. So many times since September I have had people nearly running into myself on the way to work. A nightmare also at 2pm not as bad as it used to be at 3pm. But parents are supposed to use the car parks beside the school owned by the DOE. Since Mulberrybush nursery had her alterations done there is a very poor car park there. I feel that as parents are treating Rugby avenue on both sides as their school car park this needs to be addressed as it's an accident waiting to happen. This has been made much worse by the introduction of breakfast clubs and after school clubs since September 2018. I also think people working in other areas are parking there care there @ getting a lift to work. The principal needs to address this problem with the board of governors as the problem is not being resolved.
Fantastic School, with a newly appointed principal the school is going from strength to strength. the same fantastic teaching with the added bonus of new clubs, an updated school with introduction of iPads etc this school can only get better!
