Sure won't eb going back here. Customer service when I had to go back for a replacement part was shocking
Very poor customer service and follow up care. All they want is your money, once you pay them that's it! Plenty of other decent fireplace shops to buy from. Regret not going to Coleraine Fireplaces, Jean Duddy SO HELPFUL and OBLIGING, not like the incompetents at Lamonts Fireplaces. AVOID COMPLETELY!
Recently bought granite kitchen worktops from Lamonts. They made several errors during templating and installation including:1. Cutting a rounded corner as a straight edge2. Cutting several pieces of worktop to the wrong size3. Delivering some of the upstands unpolished4. Delivering some of the upstands cut to the wrong sizeTheir customer service was abysmal meaning it took over a month (and two further visits) to get sorted. I escalated our issues to the CEO who didn't seem to care. Please avoid these cowboys and spend your money elsewhere.
My experience of purchasing my log burner and installation was great On 10th January this year, the handle mechanism gave up after 13monthsContacted Lamonts and fitter came out to assess. As stove still under warranty I was assured it would be sorted.2-3 weeks passed, no communication. Mid February I contacted Lamonts, they contacted Charnwood, the blame game started. Meanwhile, another month passed, freezing weather and no stove Last week, the little screws arrived from Charnwood, phoned Lamonts, they booked repair man to call FridY afternoon. Waited until 5.30pm, no one came, no callsToday, I made my 10/12th call, pleading for someone to please sort this out. I even suggested that I may contact another stove business and pay them to fix it., they were happy to let me do that! Then, my son called them, gave out stink, and one of the staff called within a few hours and fixed the door. He did say that he's not convinced that the door is fixed. It may need a replacement door. I need a stove for my other room , but I could never deal with this company again Really disappointed in Lamonts after sale and customer careAveril Neilly
Staff were extremely professional and helpful from the moment we were choosing our worktop, right through to fitting the final product. The standard of installation & finish was first class and we were very pleased with the work topWe would highly recommend Lamont
